Vetmedin is a versatile, first-line therapy for canine congestive heart failure (CHF). When used from the start of clinical signs as part of a standard CHF treatment protocol, Vetmedin keeps dogs going. It is different from other commonly used heart drugs because it helps the heart pump more efficiently. Vetmedin requires a prescription from your veterinarian.
