What is Revolution?

REVOLUTION^® (selamectin) is effective, which is why it’s veterinarians’ #1 choice for preventing and treating fleas on cats and dogs and preventing heartworm disease. It’s safe, with no need to keep your p separated from you, your family or your furniture after application. And it’s comprehensive, providing protection against several nasty pests.Revolution is a safe and simple monthly topical medication used to protect your pet from heartworms, fleas, and ear mites. It also protects dogs from ticks and sarcoptic mange and cats from roundworms and hookworms. Revolution for Dogs and Cats requires a prescription from your veterinarian. (3 Pack = 3 doses which lasts 3 months).

Cautions:

Do not use Revolution on sick, weak, or underweight cats. Use only on cats 8 weeks and older. In humans, Revolution may be irritating to skin and eyes. Wash hands after use. Reactions such as hives, itching and skin redness have been reported in humans in rare instances.

What happens if I miss applying a dose:

Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Do not give a double dose of the medication.

Possible side effects of Revolution:

Side effects may include digestive upset and temporary hair loss at application site with possible inflammation.

Storage:

Should be stored at room temperature.

Directions:

Firmly press the cap down to puncture the seal on the Revolution tube, a clicking sound will confirm that the cap has successfully punctured the seal.
Remove the cap and check to ensure that the tip of the tube is open.
To administer it, part the hair on the back of the pet at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube 3 or 4 times to empty its entire contents directly on the skin in one spot.
Keep the tube squeezed, drag it away from the liquid and lift to remove.

Precautions while application:

Do not massage the product into skin
Due to alcohol content, do not apply to broken skin
Avoid contact between product and fingers
Do not apply when hair coat is wet
Bathing or shampooing the dog or cat 2 or more hours after treatment will not reduce the effectiveness of Revolution

Fleas Gone

Fostering kittens and got a flea infestation. This helped get rid of them and didn't make my kittens or cats sick. It's also good for worms and my adult boy likes to bring critters to us.
