What is Derma-Vet Ointment?

Bacterial, yeast, and fungal infections on the skin, ears, or anal glands can be difficult to combat in dogs and cats who tend to lick and bite wounds. Fast, effective treatment is the key. This effective ointment combines: Nystatin, an antifungal; Neomycin Sulfate, an antibiotic; Thiostrepton, an antibacterial; and Triamcinolone Acetonide to reduce itching.  Ideal for gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and complex infections that are itchy, dry, and inflamed.

Four therapeutic treatments are blended into powerful Derma-Vet Ointment for cats and dogs. Apply this treatment to soothe and treat skin and ear infections. What happens if I miss applying a dose?

Apply the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, disregard the dose missed and give only the next scheduled dose.

Storage:

Store the medication at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

Directions:

Use this medication as directed by your veterinarian. Applications range from once a day to once a week for mild conditions or up to 2-3 times a day for severe conditions.

For severe conditions, Derma-Vet Ointment may be applied as often as two to three times daily, if necessary. Frequency of treatment may be decreased as improvement occurs.
