Felanorm (methimazole) Oral Solution is indicated for the treatment of feline hyperthyroidism, a common endocrine disorder most often diagnosed in senior cats. Hyperthyroidism results from excessive production of thyroid hormones, leading to symptoms such as weight loss, increased appetite, increased thirst and urination, vomiting, and hyperactivity.
As the first FDA-approved oral liquid methimazole for cats, Felanorm provides a convenient alternative to tablets and transdermal gels. Its liquid formulation allows for accurate dose titration and easier administration, helping reduce stress for both cats and caregivers. Felanorm is honey-flavored to enhance palatability and improve long-term treatment compliance.
